Kilorun Bali 2018

Run for The Distance or Run to Gain Kilos in Ubud, Bali June 2-3, 2018

In cooperation with Thai AirAsia, Index Creative Village – a leading advertising and event agency in Thailand, will organize the “Kilorun 2018 - The Running Festival of Food, Fun, Friends and Family” on June 2-3, 2018 in Ubud, Bali.

The second race is a series of races “KILORUN BALI 2018” is one of four races being organized in Bangkok, Bali, Osaka and Hanoi.

The Bali run will offer participants the chance to combine a gastronomic experience with an athletic event. Runners will follow a running route while enjoying a progressive culinary experience with stops to taste Nasi Goreng (Indonesian Stir-Fried Rice), Satay Ayam (Indonesian Chicken Skewers), Bebek Goreng (Deep Fried Soft Bone Duck) and other national delicacies.

The running-eating course will bring participants through some of the most scenic spots on the island including the Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary, the Ubud Palace, and Museum Puri Lukisan.

Competitive awards will be offered to finishers in each category. What's more, both male and female finishers who show up with the best fancy-dress costumes will take home a round-trip flight for two from Bali to Bangkok and a specially designed “Baowiw” plush doll.

A unique race – the event is divided into two categories:

KG or Kilogram Division

Participants in this division can walk or run the route, focusing on tasting and enjoying the local food delicacies on offer. Participants who gain either 0.5 kilograms or 1.0 kilograms will receive a special KG medals.

KM or Kilometer Division

The KM route will bring runners past iconic sites and attractions, experiencing Bali’s culture along the way. Runner can chose race distance categories of 3 km, 5 km or 10 km

Each male and female winner in each of three distance categories will receive valuable prizes. The winner of the Long Run (10 km) will receive a round-trip flight for two from Bali to Bangkok, a round-trip flight for two from Bali to Osaka, a two-night accommodation for two at Club Med Bali and a Baowiw doll. Male and female winners in the Medium Run (5 km) and the Short Run (3 km) will take home a round-trip flight for two from Bali to Bangkok and a Baowiw doll. In addition, the first 30 finishers in the KM category will be presented a Baowiw doll.

Finishers in races will receive a racing t-shirt and a commemorative medal.

Entries are now available with a 50% discount for the KM and a 25% off for the KG until May 31.
